About me

Melanie's passion for photography started in high school. She started photographing with 35mm cameras and developing her own film. Soon after, the darkroom became a space where she spent most of her time. After that first assignment she knew that she wanted to pursue her love for photography.

Melanie took a two year photography program at Fanshawe College working with 35mm, large and medium format cameras. She graduated in 2002 and took another year specializing in digital photography and photoshop.

Melanie started Renwick Photography six years ago after moving back to Brantford with her husband. Using only the best Canon equipment and digital technology, she continues to bring creativity behind the camera as well as post production. After having recently become a mom, Melanie realizes the importance of capturing a story in every photograph.
